PROGRAM & CLASSES

OUR PROCESS

  • CLASS TERMS

BRIDGE has two terms per year. Term 1 begins in January and Term 2 begins in August. At the end of each term, students that have successfully completed their GED may participate in a special graduation ceremony.

  • ENROLLMENT

BRIDGE has rolling enrollment allowing students to enroll in the GED program multiple times within the two terms. New students may begin on the first Monday of each month. BRIDGE is open to anyone between the ages of 18 – 30. We serve students in the following counties: Georgia – Muscogee, Harris, Chattahoochee, Stewart, and Webster Alabama: Russell and Lee.

  • INITIAL ASSESSMENT (TABE)

During enrollment, each student will receive an appointment to take the TABE (Test for Adult Basic Education). The TABE takes about 3.5 hours to complete and assesses your knowledge in reading and math. The assessment allows BRIDGE instructors to determine the best pathway to your GED.

  • ORIENTATION

Before beginning classes at BRIDGE GED Program, you will attend an orientation session to help you feel prepared for your journey. Orientation also includes introductions to staff and fun activities to get to know other students!
